Ms. Feldman is trained as a Collaborative Attorney and a member in good standing of the Collaborative Law Association of the Rochester Area, Inc. and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals. “The Respectful Divorce” provides a client-centered approach to resolving the sensitive, personal issues involved in separation and divorce.
Ms. Feldman was in the first class of Rochester area attorneys in 2001 to be trained in this approach and has regularly attended seminars and continuing education. The collaborative approach allows parties to maintain their privacy, dignity and creativity in fashioning a solution for themselves and their children upon separation and divorce. She has also utilized the collaborative law process to assist clients in parenting plans for the children of non-marital partnerships including same-sex couples.
